Audrey Mail is a personal Mac email app that I build and use myself. This page explains what it does with the Google account data it can reach.
When I sign in with Google, the app asks for permission to read and change my Gmail mail and labels, to send mail from my account, and to manage my Gmail filters. It uses these only to show my mail, let me write and send, and let me block senders by creating Gmail filters.
My mail is kept on my Mac only. The sign-in that lets the app reach Gmail is stored in the Mac's Keychain. I do not run any server for this app, so my mail and sign-in never pass through anything of mine except my own Mac.
The use of information received from Google Workspace scopes will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
I can stop the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and deleting the app removes its local copy of my mail and its Keychain sign-in.
If this changes, I will update this page and the date above.
